Chapter 1 You shifted nervously from foot to foot, drumming your fingers on the counter. You felt as though your step-father might appear from behind a music stand or something and snatch the small flat your parents were paying for out from under you. You didn't want to experience his punishment for breaking the terms of the agreement he was holding you to. You winced at every little sound that permeated the cosy music store, clutching your card tightly in your hand. Your mother had given you some money and promised to double your monthly allowance with her personal funds - and you had her permission to spend her money on your music. And all of this was irrelevant besides because your family was back in Sweden. They couldn't stop you from following your passions anymore.
